The Hadley House Museum was built ca 1858. It is a Victorian home that contains displays that pertain to the history of Holly. We are open Sunday afternoons in the summer from noon to 3. The museum can also be toured during the Dickens Festival. For more info call 248 634 7946.
The first 3 owners were doctors. Three generations of the Hadley family lived in it afterwards. Thomas Hadley was an architect by trade. He was instrumental in the design of Tiger Stadium, a round school in Alaska, several General Motors factories. Tom and Arlene Hadley were also involved in the Detroit Audubon Society and lectured all around the state. Some of their nature films were used in Disney's Natures Half Acre film.
