Jackson Lake State Forest Campground

Located along the edge of Jackson Lake, this rustic campground offers boating and fishing opportunities. Additionally, miles and miles of scenic hiking pathways and an off-road vehicle trail can be accessed from the campground. Great hiking and mountain biking opportunities include Clear Lake/Jackson Lake Pathway and High Country Pathway.

There are 18 sites for tent and small trailer use, 15 of which will accommodate a 40-foot long vehicle or trailer. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. Amenities include vault toilets and potable water from a hand-pump well. The campground is located 6 miles north of Atlanta via M-33.Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations.
