The large 1910 country farm house is wonderfully spacious and comfortable. Original tin ceilings adorn the main floor common rooms. A large library of reading material can be found in the parlor where you can relax in front of the fireplace stove or play a game of chess. Artwork by the innkeeper is displayed in the upstairs hall. Sit in the enclosed front porch, talk with the animals, or relax on John's Carp Deck down over the river. Three of the large rooms upstairs with shared bath offer all the amenities one needs away from home. The large suite with private bath on the main floor is great for seniors. A large breakfast of farm fresh eggs, homemade breads, cereals, fresh fruit, and beverages is included with your stay. Beaverton is within walking distance and hosts a movie theater, bowling lanes, restaurants, and shopping. Within the surrounding area there are various activities and attractions such as boating, swimming, golfing, hunting, fishing, antique shops, and Amish stores, just to name a few.
