The pioneer log cabin was built in 1923 from logs donated by decedents of early pioneers. The museum contains old tools, dollhouses, a bird collection, household items, a Civil War collection, and many other items related to the early history of Cass County. It is located in Shoestring Park, which overlooks Stone Lake.

Are really nice stop to take your time and experience a slower time in history. Tons of really unique displays and collections.

Just a picture stop for me.
The cabin was closed. I had been past a few times this year and it was never open. I think it was covid closed this year. I stopped to take some pictures across Stone Lake since the fall colors...
