The Pure Markette is a seasonal outdoor market operating in the Village of Baldwin, MI on Wednesdays from 3-7 pm (June-end of August), just prior to the Sounds of Summer evening concert Series in the adjacent Village Pavilion. The Markette may offer seasonal/holiday events depending on vendor availability and demand. Our ‘Up North’ themed Markette offers residents and visitors the opportunity to explore and meet Michigan farmers, food producers, makers and artisans of all sorts, while connecting with community organizations, clubs, service providers and area businesses hosting demonstrations, special events, classes and more at the Pure Markette Community Circle The Power of Produce (POP) Passport Program encourages children to learn about healthy eating and behaviors while teaching them to make smart choices with the Markette POP tokens they earn for trying new foods, meeting Markette vendors, and participating in special events. The Pure Markette also has a Family Fun picnic and outdoor games area. Our Markette increases access to fresh, affordable, healthy food choices and activities, while strengthening the local economy, building community and providing a welcoming gathering place. Food assistance programs offered. For more information on weekly vendors, community partners and special events, follow Pure Markette on Facebook or visit our page on https://villageofbaldwin.org.
