Redwyn Dunes Nature Sanctuary

The Red Pine Dunes Sanctuary is forested with stands of red and white pines. With a 3-acre beaver pond. The two-track leading into the sanctuary makes it an enjoyable walk or bike ride. These trails are open in the winter for cross-country skiing. To get there from Eagle River, drive north on M-26 for about 7.2 miles, then look for a small MNA sanctuary sign on the right indicating the two-track pathway.
