Stober's Bar

The oldest bar in Lansing, obtaining a liquor license after the end of Prohibition in 1933. The Bar back is unique with a stained glass inlay of Merlin the Magician flanked by three large Griffins made of hand-carved Haitian mahogany. It was originally in California and bought and re-assembled here by Rudy Stober years ago. Our customers continue to be eclectic group that know how to have fun! Live music on Tuesdays and Sundays, and the best maintained shuffleboard tables around. We receive many compliments on our classic jukebox, free during the day. We have just enough high definition big screens to avoid being a "sports bar", but enough to enjoy all of your important events. Finish off an evening with a Stober's family recipe pickled egg and a splash of hot sauce.
