West Michigan Underwater Preserve is Michigan's newest Underwater Preserve. Lucky 13. It is the 13th preserve, has 13 shipwrecks and became official in September 13, 2012. The WMUP covers over 345 square miles from just north of Big Sable Point near Ludington to just south of Grand Haven.
