Wind Rose North, ltd. Outfitters is located in Menominee's Historic Waterfront Downtown. The business is housed in a renovated two story building that captures the atmosphere of its origin, the late 1800's. Merchandise is tastefully displayed among a collection of period pieces. Many of the period pieces are a part of Menominee's history. Beyond the ordinary shopping experience....Wind Rose North.
Curious Fact: The "wind rose" is a tool the sailors used to chart their courses on the seas. It dates back to the 1300's. From the "wind rose" evolved the familiar "compass rose", the floral directional used on many maps.
