Yesterdog
1505 Wealthy Street SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506
Body
In 1976 Bill Lewis decided he could build a better hotdog. And build a better hotdog he did! If you haven't been in to try a Yesterdog (or Ultra, Kraut, Cheddar, or Killer dog) you don't know what you've been missing. The restaurant's interior takes guests back to the 1930s and 40s with vintage posters, an ornate hand crank cash register, an antique jukebox, and an old gramophone horn which serves as the "tip target" where customers toss their coins.

The best chilidogs on the planet

Best hotdogs around!
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Grand Rapids! The experience is so neat and the service is quick. I always get 2cheddar dogs (chili and cheese) and it's the perfect amount. They are very...

Bad hotdogs. Don’t bother.
Bad hotdogs. Period.
But also poor attempt at humor from hipster cashier with ironic(?) mustache.
A local friend took me to this place a decade ago and I remember not thinking the food or...

Great Spot!
Fun, fast pace environment. We were the only tourists, everyone else were locals. The restaurant seemed to have a constant line but it moves really fast. The hotdogs were awesome and super affordable.
