Join a special Observe the Moon Family Night at the planetarium in Bay City to celebrate the historic Apollo moon landing anniversary with a spectacular dome show featuring the Moon and space exploration, interactive activities for visitors of all ages, and even a telescope viewing of the Moon

Join planetarium staff, amateur astronomers and park rangers at the Dark Sky Preserve near Port Austin. Visitors will get to observe through telescopes and binoculars from a truly dark sky site! The famous Perseid Meteor Shower will still be near its peak. Backup night is Saturday, August 15 in case
