Houghton is located within the Keweenaw Peninsula, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a four season scenic wonderland and surrounded by water with numerous inland lakes and streams. An annual average of 180 inches of snowfall, this area is a focal point for winter sport enthusiasts.
