Marine City

A popular visitor getaway noted for its unique boutiques, eateries, and award-winning theatre performances. Historically, Marine City was known as a ship building center of the Great Lakes. Because of this, many captains, sailors, and shipbuilders made their homes here and can be seen in the grand architecture.

Discover Marine City

The beach is quaint and very refreshing on a hot summer day! The best part is the walkability to accommodations, dining and shopping.

Marine City was once a bustling hub of shipbuilding. Many wooden ships that sailed the Great Lakes were built here.

The Algonac State Park has year-round camping with limited amenities and sites are first come, first served.

Marine City Docks is a day-use dock and kayak launch on the Belle River. The docks are only a few blocks from shopping and dining.

The views are fantastic from all eight parks along Water Street from Bridge to Pearl Streets for watching ships.
