Dowagiac Summer Festival and BBQ Competition

Downtown Dowagiac just got hotter! The annual barbecue competition featuring an amateur division sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society will be held during the annual Summer Festival. This community celebration is a family-friendly event, featuring music and dance, children’s interactive entertainment, games and rides, and food trucks. Families can browse summer sales at retail specialty shops, and the booths of artisans, community organizations and commercial vendors.
