Celebrate the holidays with the Grand Rapids Symphony's Wolverine Worldwide Holiday Pops. Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt leads the orchestra in music including Leroy Anderson's "Sleigh Ride," highlights from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker," music from "Home Alone," and popular Christmas carols including a Christmas carol sing along. The show features the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus singing the "Hallelujah" Chorus from Handel's "Messiah" and the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus singing John Rutter's "Star Carol." Special guests include and Embellish handbell ensemble and vocalist Leon Williams performing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Sweet Jesus Boy."
