Moonlight Fest 2026 is an independent music and arts festival taking place on August 1, 2026, at Old Dog Tavern in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Founded by Kalamazoo artist and promoter Gibson Tucker, the festival was created to elevate the local music scene while bringing regional and national touring acts to Southwest Michigan.
The festival will feature 12+ local and Midwest Michigan artists alongside touring bands from across the United States, creating a diverse lineup that celebrates both emerging talent and established performers. Headlined by Matt Giraud, the event provides a platform for artists to connect with new audiences while strengthening Kalamazoo's growing creative community.
Built by artists for artists, Moonlight Fest has gained support from numerous community partners and sponsors, including Jack FM 106.5, Adams Heating & Cooling, Majesty's, and other local businesses committed to supporting arts, culture, and live music in Kalamazoo.
In addition to live music, attendees can enjoy local vendors, food, art, and community engagement opportunities throughout the day. Moonlight Fest's mission is to showcase Kalamazoo as a destination for live music, support independent artists, and create opportunities for performers to pursue their dreams on a larger stage.
