Join our efforts to help reclaim an oak-hickory forest within Muskegon State Park. We will be hiking to remove invasive barberry that is off trail. All tools and equipment will be provided, and volunteers will be trained to identify the target species we are removing.
Long-sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.
Register by emailing Tyler Lidgard at [email protected].
For more information, visit the Volunteer stewardship webpage.
A Recreation Passport is required for vehicle entry into Michigan state parks.
Please note: Dates occasionally change and events may be canceled due to inclement weather and other reasons. Please call the park to confirm dates/times prior to your arrival.
