From 10am to 10pm each year on the Saturday before Labor Day, the Blue Water Folk Society hosts Thumbfest - a free, all-day, acoustic music festival across multiple stages throughout downtown Lexington. Thumbfest features acoustic and traditional music encompassing folk, Americana, roots, country, blues, rock, bluegrass, jazz, Celtic, classical, flamenco, and more. Multiple food and craft vendors available. Free shuttle all day. Donations gladly accepted to fund next year’s Thumbfest. Bring your family, bring your lawn chair, bring your dog.
