Recent James Beard Award finalists for Best Chef- Great Lakes Region, Jennifer Blakeslee and Eric Patterson, own and operate the carefully attended 25 seats, available at Traverse City’s beloved The Cook’s House restaurant. Known for its new American, farm-to-fork cuisine and dedication to local food and culture, the restaurant is a perfect pairing to host Suttons Bay-based sustainable winery Shady Lane Cellars for a one-night-only winter wine dinner.
“We had a delightful time planning this menu. From locally farmed shrimp, to a root vegetable Pinot Gris pairing. I anticipate charmed taste buds, engaging conversation and lots of laughter!” shared Kasey Wierzba, general manager and executive winemaker at Shady Lane Cellars.
On March 4, Wierzba will unveil five carefully-curated wine selections paired with five seasonal courses, courtesy of Blakeslee and Patterson. Limited tickets are on sale now. Don't miss this one.
"Kasey is an amazing wine maker, so her wines are a perfect pairing for our food,” said Patterson.
