The White Lake Chamber Music Festival returns for its 17th season, bringing world-class music to the White Lake area July 16–25, 2026.
The festival opens Thursday, July 16 at 7:30 PM with a dynamic Opening Night concert at Blodgett Hall, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. The Festival String Quartet joins pianist Kuang Hao Huang for Schumann’s A Major String Quartet and Dvorák’s Piano Quintet.
Evening programs feature Mozart, Brahms, Schubert songs, the Frank Piano Quintet, and more, plus an outdoor performance by the Blue Lake Faculty Brass Quintet and a vibrant Baroque finale.
Festival favorites return, including the popular 11AM Salon Concerts at the Book Nook & Java Shop—casual, intimate performances (free-will donation). The beloved Children’s Concert at the Playhouse at White Lake expands through partnerships with White Lake Community Library, MADL, and READ Muskegon. This free event features narrator Anne Marie Hoover and pianist Kuang Hao Huang in The Story of Babar the Elephant and Paddington Bear’s First Concert.
With concerts, community events, and lakeshore beauty, the festival continues to attract audiences from near and far.
