Bay Stone Lodge at Wells State Park

Located 200 yards from the park's swimming beach, the lodge sleeps up to 12 people, has two full baths, a screened porch with outdoor table and chairs, stone fireplace and hardwood floors. The use of hand-hewn beams and stones collected from Lake Michigan's Green Bay showcases the craftsmanship demonstrated by the 1940s era of the Civilian Conservation Corps. The name, Bay Stone Lodge, reflects the use of local construction materials. Amenities include a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, blender, slow cooker, coffee maker and toaster. A gas grill is also on the premises. Linens are supplied along with all dishware, utensils, pots and pans and bakeware. Maid service is not provided, and guests are expected to clean the lodge prior to their departure.
