Blueways of St. Clair - The Sny Loop

This is one of St. Clair County’s most unique paddles. Explore the Chenal a Bout Rond, also known as the 'Sny'. A great way to explore the St. Clair River delta; the largest freshwater delta in North America. The area is a very important resting place for waterfowl during migration, so look out for a variety of wild bird species. The only car access is at either Decker's Landing access points, off Anchor Bay Drive. One can shorten this trip by taking the first right off the Sny, (on the Baltimore Hwy) and loop back around to the North Channel, and back to Decker's Landing. Level – intermediate (due to current). Length - 11 mile round trip.
