Hilltop Cabins has cabins and motel rooms and is located on the ridge at the east side of Grand Marais, overlooking Lake Superior. Chosen for the TripAdvisor Travelers Choice Award for 2024 and 2025. Our cabins range from studio size, through 2-bedroom, to large cabins that fit up to 8 guests. Each one is completely furnished with full kitchen, living room, bath/shower and private bedrooms. Some have fantastic views of the Lake. We also have 5 motel rooms, two with kitchenettes, the others have microwave, refrigerator and coffee makers, all with complimentary coffee. Towels and linens are also included in all accommodations. Hilltop Cabins is close to snowmobile trails, hiking trails, waterfalls, cross country skiing, beaches, swimming, boating and excellent hunting and fishing. Pets are welcome in most accommodations.
