Island Park offers 2.25-acres of beautiful views of the Grand River situated in the heart of downtown Grand Ledge. The island is connected to the mainland by a wide, ADA-accessible pedestrian bridge, a perfect place to stop and watch the wildlife and take in the splendor of the Grand River.
Island Park hosts popular festivals each year including the Island Art Fair in July and the Grand Ledge Fall Festival in October.
Island Park is the largest of Grand Ledge's famous “Seven Islands", that at the turn of the 19th Century held a hotel, casino, roller coaster, and resort. Now, Island Park is the venue that showcases the small-town charm of a unique downtown park. With paved ADA-accessible walkways, the park is a popular destination for visitors of all ages and abilities.
