The Lapeer Art Association is a non-profit organization that supports the art and artists in Lapeer County. The gallery is located in downtown Lapeer next to the historic PIX Theater inside the Gallery 194. The Lapeer Art Association hosts art exhibits featuring for sale original fine art handcrafted by local artists . Also, featured at the gallery are Meet The Artists' Receptions , art demonstrations and art classes. Inside the gallery you will be treated to upper gallery art shows, main gallery art shows, a coffee shop that offers specialty coffees, teas and bakery items and a gift shop. Stop into our Gallery Gifts Shop for an array of fine art gifts, handcrafted jewelry, cards, books and much more. If you are an artist or writer interested in becoming a member of the Lapeer Art Association pick up an application at the gift shop counter. Admission to art shows is free. Gallery open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 11am to 6pm.
