Lost Tamarack Pathway, a 4.67 mile trail, is directly connected to Weber Lake State Forest Campground.

The Sturgeon River is famous for its speed for experienced paddlers, and also designated as a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream.

Several campgrounds in the Wolverine area offer camping opportunities near the Sturgeon River and Weber Lake.
