Body
Come Ride the Rails on Michigan's heritage railroad. Most Saturdays May through September, train excursions travel the historic Clinton Branch line between Clinton and Tecumseh. At the end of September, take the train and enjoy the Clinton Fall Festival. Weekends in October, travel from Tecumseh through the countryside for the very popular Fall Color Tours. Book on the weekend of Tecumseh's "Appleumpkin" street festival for a double treat. The railroad property was first built in 1837, the first branch railroad in Michigan. It was preserved because three teenagers rallied the community to save it. SMRS is an all-volunteer operating railroad museum. Come ride, join or volunteer!
