Mi Playground: Snowboarding at Snowriver Resort

We are in Ironwood, Michigan to snowboard at SnowRiver Mountain Resort, which consists of two mountains. First off, we are riding at Jackson Creek Summit followed by Black River Basin. Each ski area offers its own unique features and you can take a shuttle between them to ride both with one lift ticket.

Mi Playground: Big Powderhorn & Mt. Zion

We are in Ironwood, Michigan to snowboard at Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort and Mt. Zion Ski Area. First off, we are at Big Powderhorn to explore the 250+ acres and 45 runs. There are also 2 full service restaurants and a cafeteria for food and drink options.

 Next up we are at Mt. Zion Ski Area, which is located on the campus of Gogebic Community College. A unique aspect about Mt. Zion is that it is ran and operated by students who are part of the ski area management program a the college. GCC is one of two colleges in the continental United States that offers a ski area management degree.
