Join us for this musical adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. A hilarious and heartwarming twist on the classic tale, Once Upon a Mattress tells the story of a kingdom where the domineering Queen Aggravain has decreed that no couples can marry until her mousy son, Prince Dauntless, finds a bride. Princesses come from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none can pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the brash yet charming swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, shows up. Will she be able to pass the Queen's test?
