Lets take a hike and celebrate Michigan Trails Week, Sept. 23-30, with a 5-mile hike along the river trail between the Tahquamenon Falls Upper and Lower Falls. Parking is available at the Lower Falls and you can catch a free shuttle ride to the trailhead. Well-behaved dogs on a six-foot leash are welcome to ride the shuttle and hike the trails. Shuttles begin at 9 a.m. and will run every 30 mintues until 1 p.m. Closed-toe shoes, water and snacks are recommended. This event is free of charge and fun for the whole family.
