Letterpress Hands On Demonstrations

Join us for hands on demonstrations by the Monks & Friars Letterpress. The Monks & Friars will have a display of letterpress works on display in the circulation lobby in September & October.

The Monks & Friars printing organization was created to serve professional and amateur printers. The name derives for antique printing terminology: white and black spots on a print were referred to as "monks and friars." Hence the name.
