Porcupine Mountains Music Festival

The Porcupine Mountains Music Festival, presented by the Friends of the Porkies, is held annually on the weekend before Labor Day weekend. International, National, Regional, and Local acts perform on 3 different stages overlooking beautiful Lake Superior within the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. A variety of musical genres including Folk, Rock, Country, Americana, Bluegrass, and Blues, are presented in addition to workshops, jam sessions, and children's activities. Those who would like to volunteer to work before, during, or after the festival will receive a free 2-Day Pass for working one 5-hour shift.
