Snowfest 2026: Muskegon’s Largest Winter Festival

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Snowfest on February 21, 2026, presented by JCI Greater Muskegon. As the region’s largest winter festival, Snowfest offers a full weekend of family-friendly activities, local food, and community events in downtown Muskegon. Highlights include the Battle of the Bowls Chili Cook-Off at the Frauenthal Center Reception Gallery, Euchre and Cornhole tournaments, snow volleyball, comedy shows, axe throwing, a cocktail competition, disc golf, first responder meet-and-greets, pop-up museums, and Boys and Girls Club games. This winter festival supports local nonprofit organizations, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Muskegon community.
