175 years strong, the St. Joseph County Grange Fair is one of Michigan’s premier and longest-running county fairs, celebrating generations of agriculture, community, and classic summer fun. From the moment guests enter the grounds, they can enjoy a wide variety of free entertainment, exhibits, and activities included with admission, as well as paid entertainment such as rides and grandstand events.
Deeply rooted in tradition, the fair features expansive open-class and 4H livestock exhibits, antique tractors, educational displays, and beloved still exhibits showcasing open-class and 4H baking, photography, needlework, flowers, and homegrown crops. Time-honored favorites like tractor pulls, rodeo performances, demolition derby, live music, and two afternoons of FREE live harness racing, a rarity these days among Michigan fairs, bring excitement throughout the week.
Families can enjoy interactive play areas, hands-on exhibits, and an unforgettable midway presented by Skerbeck Entertainment Group, known for delivering one of the most exciting carnivals in the region. Guests can explore merchants’ buildings filled with vendors, indulge in a wide variety of fair food, and discover something new around every corner.
