However, the tradition was forged in 2000 over egg nog, vinyl classics, lots of mustaches, and beautiful festive shenanigans. Don’t believe us? We’ve got the receipts! Michigan didn’t just join a trend, we ignited an international obsession with thousands of similarly themed parties popping up every year since.
