Upper Peninsula History Conference

From Iron Mountain to Sault Ste Marie, the Upper Peninsula is a beautiful region of Michigan filled with unique history and stories to share. Each year, the Historical Society of Michigan hosts a conference tailored only to U.P.-based history. It's a fun, casual event atmosphere with keynotes, content sessions, tours, delicious food, and more. The 2026 event weekend will take place on June 26-28 2026, in Marquette. Registration for this event will open in early 2026.
