Visitors must clear customs and proper identification is required. Documents must prove citizenship: voter's registration, birth certificate or passport. The Easy way to go from Windsor to Deroit and Back.
A very efficient way to cross the Border, both ways. We left our car at our hotel, in Windsor. We rode the Bus to the Detroit downtown and back.

Very simply, much easier that the bridge. No wait. Will never take the bridge again (very corrupt and rude Canadian people). Didn’t have that with the tunnel. Travel was done June of 2024.

Easy route to Canada
I always use the tunnel when crossing to Canada. It usually has much less traffic than the bridge. It is easy to get to and puts you right in the middle of Windsor.
