The Backyard Axe Throwing League is the premier axe throwing facility in Metro Detroit. BATL Novi is located at Twelve Mile Crossing at Fountain Walk near West Oaks Shopping Center, and is capable of hosting parties from 2 – 160 people.
Typical BATL events include birthdays, bachelor/ bachelorette parties, corporate team building and similar functions. Our private group tournaments are fully staffed in a private throwing area, with individual coaching and 'target practice' before taking part in a round robin and group playoff lasting 1 - 2.5 hours.

Fun place to get together with friends
Great time with 15 friends over Thanksgiving. They did a great job teaching us newbies so everyone could have some fun and success.

Birthday party fun
Had a blast, was there on a Sunday for my gf's bff's birthday party. Had 5 of us, and we all had a great time throwing axes for an hour. Alex was our trainer and score taker, he was pretty awesome...

Birthday BATL
I tried BATL for the first time and it was amazing! We reserved a lane for 8 people and for a birthday celebration. Steve was our instructor and he did an amazing job!! We can’t wait to BATL again!!
