Applecore General Store

Applecore offers Michigan made edibles, gifts, home goods, and accessories that celebrate the art and craft of the Great Lakes State.



Housed in a 119-year-old farmhouse on the M-134 Pure Michigan Byway, the shop opened midsummer 2017, and is the new retail home of Les Cheneaux-made Cedar Shore Soaps, which are made at the on-site studio; as well as hundreds of Michigan-made products from around 50 local and Michigan makers. As always, Cedar Shore Soaps, spa salts, and bug spray are handmade in Les Cheneaux, with all natural, skin-loving ingredients.



Other Applecore offerings include Michigan cherry products, locally roasted coffee-- beans and ground, handmade scarves, leather goods and bags, knit hats and fiber art, original illustrations, art prints, ceramics, natural bath and body care products, up-cycled Michigan mittens, jams, maple-glazed nuts, meat and bbq seasonings, mustard, maple syrup products, baking mixes, wood furnishings, stuffed toys, Michi-Gummies and other candies, and a limited supply of curated vintage items. 

The shop is open seasonally, May through December. If you can't catch us during open hours, give us a call at 906.484.7080 to check hours or to make an appointment outside of regular hours. Open Sundays in July and August.
