There is a 1-mile, out-and-back trail that takes visitors to the top of the Mount Pisguah sand dune. Although there are awesome views of Lake Michigan, the trail does not provide direct access to the water. The trail starts along Ottawa County’s boardwalk and dune climb (includes stairs) and then heads out along the DNR’s wooded trail.
The trailhead is located along Ottawa Beach Road near the park headquarters (parking is located near the U.S. Coastguard station).
