The Home Shop

For over thirty years John Wilson has been showing people how to make Shaker oval boxes. Classes are held

that give hands-on experience in this traditional craft. The wood, hardware, tools and instructional materials needed for box making are found at The Home Shop. In addition to oval box making, we teach traditional skills in chair making, dovetailing, and projects from John Wilson’s award winning book Making Wood Tools.
