Nestled in the Manistee National Forest on the edge of Paradise Lake in historic Idlewild, Morton’s has been home to music greats such as Aretha Franklin, the Four Tops and Della Reese. Our comfortable, recently renovated guest rooms – some with kitchenettes – Great Room with adjoining large kitchen and cable TV, outdoor open space dotted with lawn chairs, picnic courtyard with umbrella tables and canopied patio are some of our attractions. We provide a warm, inviting place to host large or small indoor/outdoor parties, retreats, family reunions or couples enjoying vacation. Just over an hour from Grand Rapids, Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula; near the Pere Marquette and Pine Rivers. Daily, group or weekly rates include Continental breakfast. Catering is available. Open May through October.
