The Park Lake Creamery is a small chocolate, ice cream & coffee shop
nestled on a quiet lake in Bath, MI. In the spring, summer & fall a dock extends onto the lake and you can rent paddle boats, kayaks, canoes, stand-up boards and more. There is also a pontoon boat that takes visitors on a cruise around the quiet but popular lake. Just across the street is another attraction, the Blue Loop, made famous by local artist Richard Park.
What makes the Park Lake Creamery so different is that almost without exception, everything is made from scratch, and from simple wholesome ingredients. We create a full selection of premium
chocolates, fancy ice cream desserts and exquisite coffee drinks. The lake is peaceful and charming and
provides the perfect setting for our gourmet dessert shop experience
Our building is literally constructed on a platform of steel
and wood beams and sits over the water.
You can walk out over the water on our long dock or sit out on the deck. Many years ago we were the site of a dance hall that extended out over
the water (we have the photos). Just up
the hill was a hotel & bar that Al Capone used to frequent with his crew
from Chicago.
