The Shelby Township Library is a part of the Suburban Library Cooperative serving Macomb county. The library lends books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs as well as offers a diverse line-up of programs and events for all ages. Shelby Township residents are eligible for a library card with proof of residency. A valid Michigan Driver’s license/Michigan State ID or two forms of acceptable ID with a current address. Children under 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to receive a card.
