South Higgins Lake-Marl Lake Trails

The park features 5.5 miles of looped trails that traverse through small wetlands, hardwood forests (birch, hemlock and oak) and beautiful, quiet Marl Lake.

The trail offers spur trails to allow users to hike 2 miles (Green Loop A), 3.5 miles (Red Loop B) or complete the entire trail for 5.5 miles (Blue Loop C). The trail also connects to Markey Township Park, featuring a fitness trail, a dog park and a large playground area, via Green Loop A.

Hunting is permitted in this area during all seasons, so guests should wear appropriate, high-visibility clothing.
