Otsego Resort | Gaylord

EPISODE 1 

Otsego Resort kicks off our first episode of Ski Pure Michigan. In the heart of the Lower Peninsula "snow belt," Otsego Resort was formerly the country's oldest private ski resort. It wasn't until 2017 that new owners opened the resort to the public. Now everyone can see why this ski area—hidden in a valley—is Michigan's best-kept secret.
Nub's Nob Ski Area | Harbor Springs

EPISODE 2 

In this episode, we visit Nub's Nob—is one of the state's largest ski areas. Nub's Nob is known for its impeccable ski conditions. The snowmaking and grooming crew at Nub's is among the most decorated in the industry.
Alpine Valley Ski Resort | White Lake

EPISODE 3 

Alpine Valley might be within a half-hour drive from much of Metro Detroit, but its tree-lined slopes and classic alpine lodge can make you feel like you've traveled much further. Join our guide Otie as he cruises down Ridge Run, one of Michigan's signature ski runs. With night skiing available during the week, you too could enjoy corduroy under the lights at Alpine Valley.

Porcupine Mountain Ski Area, often referred to as "The Porkies," sits along the shores of the mighty Lake Superior. This provides breathtaking views while skiing one of the 23 runs on the mountain.
Episode 5 | Boyne Mountain Resort | Boyne Falls

EPISODE 5 

As the first resort to bring the chairlift to the Midwest in 1948, Boyne Mountain helped to popularize the sport of skiing in Detroit, Chicago and other midwestern cities. Today, you can take on Hemlock, one of Michigan's signature black diamond runs, where skiing legends like Stein Eriksen and Warren Miller have carved turns throughout Boyne Mountain's 70+ years of skiing history.
Cannonsburg Ski Area | Belmont

EPISODE 6 

Rising from the banks of the Grand River just north of Grand Rapids, Cannonsburg is a favorite destination for West Michigan skiers and snowboarders. With 9 lifts and 21 runs, along with snow tubing and fat tire biking, the resort also draws winter sports enthusiasts from Indiana, Illinois, and beyond.

EPISODE 7 

If you pause for a moment before dropping into "White Trillium" at The Homestead, we completely understand. Panoramic views of the Manitou Islands and the blue waters of Sleeping Bear Bay are enough to stop you in your tracks.
Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resort | Bellaire

EPISODE 8 

When the snow flies in Northern Michigan, skiers and snowboarders from throughout the Midwest head to Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resort. With 175 inches of annual snowfall, Schuss Mountain's 400 skiable acres offer top-notch conditions for those looking to float through fresh powder or carve up some corduroy. Crystal Mountain | Thompsonville

If you've driven north of Cadillac on M-115 and continued past Mesick, you know the moment. At the crest of a hill, the snow-covered slopes of Crystal Mountain appear between the pines and hardwoods. But the experience is only beginning. 8 lifts and 58 trails across 102 skiable acres await, with cross-country trails, fat tire biking and a host of winter fun activities to enjoy before and after the slopes.
