Pinckney Recreation Area - Feb. 28, Volunteer Stewardship Workday
Join us in protecting a valuable dry sand prairie ecosystem in Pinckney Recreation Area, where 22 unique natural communities form the diverse landscape. We will be stewarding this fire-dependent natural community by cutting and treating invasive shrubs threatening the native plant population.

Mitchell State Park - Feb. 8, Tacklecraft: DIY fishing lures
Create your own DIY fishing lure to catch perch, panfish, or perhaps a mighty bass! All ages welcome as park interpreters provide step-by-step instructions to crafting your own lure, and a chance to catch the most common fish found in Lake Mitchell and Cadillac.
The class will be repeated at 11 a.m
Highland Recreation Area - March 21, Volunteer Stewardship Workday
Join ongoing efforts to restore this area to an open grassland. Volunteers will be cutting invasive shrubs.
