This original adaptation of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic breathes fresh life into everyone’s favorite Christmas ghost story by reimagining the characters in the modern world. Cruel and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge has built a successful financial firm through bareknuckle business practices and a single-minded focus on accruing wealth at the expense of all else. He refuses even to provide health insurance to his reliable office manager, Robin Cratchit, a single mother who looks after Scrooge and his firm as much as she does her own children. After rejecting holiday cheer from a local charity, Robin, and even his own nephew, Scrooge is visited by a series of specters who reveal to him how is past and present will affect his future.
