Fauna of the Forest

Outdoor Adventure Center
1801 Atwater Street,
Detroit, MI 48207

Forests play an important role in Michigan's past and present. We have always depended on them for our own needs, but tons of other species do, too! Learn about some forest-dwelling friends and why forest habitats are so important for them.

These exhibits will be located either in our classrooms (Discovery Lab 204 or 205) or at one or more tables in the general exhibit area. Each will have a specific focus topic and may include educational hands-on activities and exploration, a game, and/or a craft led by one or more of our education staff. These are intended as "drop-in" activities that will be available throughout the duration of the program while materials last. No registration is required to participate, just drop in!

Included with the price of Outdoor Adventure Center admission.
