The Civil War and the role Michigan's iron resources played in preserving the Union come to life. The Civil War artillery encampment features military and civilian camp life, cannon demonstrations and cooking demonstrations. The event also includes live period music, guest speakers, dramatic performances and children's games and activities.

  • Thursday and Friday are days of learning and enjoyment for school groups. Please call to schedule.
  • Saturday is open to the public.
Admission is free of charge; donations are appreciated.
